It is important to be aware of the brakes and barriers that we often encounter in our
reasoning processes, but not only this is important, we also need to see what
skills can help us to develop our cognitive flexibility in order to get more
out of our interactions with people in our personal and professional
environment. For this reason, throughout this nugget we will focus on two areas
that will help us to achieve our goal: working on mindfulness and learning to
listen from a more empathetic approach, which will help us to put ourselves in
the other person’s shoes and understand why things happen.
Learning outcomes
- Learner is able to put the concept of mindfulness into practice through the use of simple techniques.
- Learner is able to develop a basic language to establish an empathic relationship with the people with whom he/she interacts.
