A User is any individual who accesses the EIT Manufacturing Academy platform, whether as a Registered User or a Guest, hereinafter referred to as ‘’the user’’ or ‘’users’’.
The EIT Manufacturing Academy platform refers to an online educational service that offers a variety of learning formats including asynchronous educational content, live sessions, and blended sessions., and utilizes a dedicated Learning Management System (LMS) for the creation and delivery of digital trainings. Hereinafter referred to as ‘’the platform’’ or ‘’our platform’’.
1.1. Users must register for an account to access certain features of the platform. Guests may consult our training catalogue without formal registration.
1.2. Registered users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities that occur under their account.
1.3. All Users (Guests or Registered), agree to adhere to these terms and conditions by using this platform.
2.1. The platform provides asynchronous educational content, live sessions, and blended sessions for registered users and specialized training formats.
2.2. The Platform uses a dedicated system of the creation and delivery of digital trainings (Learning Management System).
2.2. Certificates of completion will be awarded to users who successfully complete the required coursework and assessments. Certificates are issued based on the user’s performance and compliance with course requirements that may vary between the different courses.
3.1 Access to our video training courses is via “online viewing” or “video on demand” (VOD).
Access to each individual, single-user account and its corresponding services is contingent upon responsible usage, whether for paid or unpaid services. To maintain fair access to our bandwidth and service connectivity, we define abusive use as consulting more than 8 hours of training per day continuously or accessing more than 60 complete learning paths per month. Note that accessing less than 50% of a learning path does not contribute to this limit. These conditions are in place to ensure equitable access for all participants. In cases of misuse that violate these terms, our platform reserves the right to suspend the user’s account without refund.
4.1 Learning paths are accessible after validation of the payment of the purchase. Users have a right to withdrawal within 14 days from the transaction date according to the French Consumer Code. In all cases for the user’s paid purchases, once they have finalized the registration and payment process, they will receive a confirmation e-mail at the e-mail address they have registered in their account, or in the purchase process form that has been addressed to them. In all cases for the purchase of paid content, a PDF invoice will be available in the user’s learner’s dashboard.
4.2 The choice of the mode of access to dematerialized multimedia content is left to the free discretion of our platform, which may freely choose to modify the methods of access to dematerialised multimedia content, particularly in the light of any changes in Internet techniques and/or downloading and Internet network connectivity technologies.
4.3 The rates of the dematerialized multimedia content offered for sale are those in force at the time of purchase and allow the users to access to the content for a limited period of use. We reserve the right to modify the prices by means of promotional offers and/or by offering packages of several contents.
4.4 At any time, changes may occur to the nature of the offer and access rights proposed to our users, as well as the corresponding prices. The user subscribing to an offer will be invoiced on the basis of the applicable rate at the time of registration of their order or request. In the event of an increase in the rates for automatic renewal subscriptions, we undertake to inform the holders of these subscriptions at least 8 days before the next payment is due, in order to give them sufficient time to consider whether or not they should cancel their subscription.
These terms and conditions regulate the access to a proposed content for educational purposes and does not confer any ownership right on the proposed dematerialized multimedia content, whether the multimedia work is produced directly by us or proposed by a third party. The prices indicated correspond to access to the dematerialized multimedia content made available by the website for a right of use for reading, streaming and viewing.
6.1. The educational content provided on the platform is for informational and educational purposes only. The platform does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of the content. Users shall use the Site for strictly private use and/or for their personal needs including in connection with their professional activity. Users are fully informed that this site is published with the essential aim of offering all Internet users training courses, either individually or as part of an educational program.
6.2. Users are responsible for verifying the accuracy and relevance of the content to their specific needs and circumstances.
6.3 The platform makes every effort to ensure the reliability of our content and services.
6.4. Access to the site by the user is free of charge and the site is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, the site editor cannot be held responsible for any technical impossibility of connection and, where applicable, for any malfunctioning of the site or the momentary unavailability of the contents, due to causes such as but not limited to ; force majeure, maintenance operations, editorial updates, network failure or power cuts, connectivity problems, poor configuration or use of the computer by the user, or any other cause dependent or not on the will of the publisher, in particular difficulties in accessing the Internet network and its services linked to the communication protocols allowing interconnections with it.
6.5. Our site and its publisher cannot be held responsible in case of contamination by a virus or any other computer infection of the user’s equipment. It is the user’s responsibility to take all appropriate measures to protect their data, software and equipment used for browsing our site from any source of contamination. The Website will make every effort to provide the best possible access and use by Users and ensure its proper functioning.
6.6 If the user is a “professional” entity within the meaning of the Consumer Code, dedicated T&Cs might apply on top of these T&Cs with respect to the services they are subscribing to. These T&Cs also apply to employees or subordinates of such professional entities.
7.1. All content provided on the platform, including but not limited to text, images, videos, and interactive materials, is the intellectual property of the platform or its content providers. Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works based on the platform’s content without prior written consent.
7.2. Except as expressly authorized in writing by us or foreseen in these T&Cs, users may not modify, copy, republish, upload, download, deduplicate for your use, display, transmit, translate, including creating derivative works, incorporating and aggregating into an information retrieval system, exploiting on their behalf and/or licensing to third parties, distributing, transferring, selling or reselling any content or services obtained from this site.
7.3. If users fail to obtain this authorization, they could be held liable for copyright infringement in accordance with the provisions of articles L. 335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.
8.1. The platform is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the platform or its content.
8.2. The platform’s total liability for any claim arising under these Terms and Conditions is limited to the amount paid by the user, if any, for the use of the platform.
9.1. The refund policy varies for each category of courses as described herein:
– Digital Courses
– Live Sessions (Online or in-person)
– Blended Training (Digital + Online / Digital + in-person)
9.2. Special Circumstances
10.1. The platform reserves the right to terminate or suspend a user’s account at any time for violations of these Terms and Conditions or for any other reason.

We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes. Will be posted on the website, and your continued use of Platform is considered as acceptance of such changes. We recommend that you consult these T&Cs regularly when you log on again. Our current T&Cs are time-stamped.
12.1. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions and any legal action or proceeding arising under or relating to these terms and conditions shall be governed by French law. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms, or the use of Services provided by the Platform, or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France.
12.2. Mediation clause:
The user and consumer of the services is informed of the possibility of having recourse, in the event of a dispute relating to the present T&Cs, to the mediation procedure or to any other alternative dispute resolution mechanism. The consumer user is informed that he/she may refer the matter to the profession’s consumer mediator, after having first attempted to resolve the dispute amicably directly with the publisher of the EIT Manufacturing site. If necessary to obtain information on the mediation process, the user and consumer can consult the website of the consumer ombudsman competent for the activity carried out by EIT Manufacturing.
