This nugget is the second in a series on the theory of creating a CAM setup. Specifically the second part concentrates upon analysing a very common selfcentering vise and how it should be heirarchically be decomposed in order to guarantee that during the final CAM Setup. This analysis is necessary becouse different sub-systems on the vise need different degree of freedom (DOF) also in relationship of the other components of the assembly.
Learning outcomes
- The user will understand Understand why this operation is necessary
- The user will visualize and assimilate the theoretical workflow
- The user will learn the ideal theoretical assembly decomposition
