SUMMARY

This lesson provides an understanding of regulatory, emerging, R&D and other market signals and how they are monitored, interpreted, and transformed into actionable insights. Learners will explore the ecosystem of market available tools, general foresight methodologies and AI/data-driven approaches. They also learn how to leverage the regulations monitor tools, emerging signals detector tool, and R&D trends radar tools to anticipate regulatory changes, detect weak signals from science and technology, and analyze funded R&D trends. These insights enable predictive decision-making and timely production reconfiguration in response to evolving market demand.

About The Author

This course was developed within the EU-funded R3GROUP project, as part of Task 5.4: Social Impact Management, to raise the awareness about resilience strategies and technologies for reconfiguration in different manufacturing sectors. Learning outcomes

By the end of this lesson, learners will be able to recognize the different types of market signals, tools and data driven approaches available for interpreting and converting it into actionable knowledge.
By the end of this lesson, learners will be able to explain the advantage of integrated digital tools over traditional and other methods/tools for detecting data, with the aim of improving proactive business adaptation to market changes.
