Here you will learn about most popular PLC programming languages defined in IEC61131-3 standard. You will be able to distinguish different systems available on the market: TwinCAT, CODE SYS, IDEC. You will have a chance to get to know principles of operation of PLC, principles of programming and commissioning. There is also information on classification of basic data types and methods of their declaration. With this content you will have a chance to understand program structure, actions and methods for calling subprograms as well as ranges of visibility of variables. At the end of this part of the course we have described Basic Instructions (such as operators, arithmetic, logic, conversions) and Advanced Instructions (such as timers, flip-flops, counters and triggers).
