This nugget is about Configuration of requirement management tool & PLM based on NLP + ML processing of specification documents and is developed by the Grenoble INP team.
The intended learning outcomes of this nugget are: identify the industrial problem, decision criteria, objectives, limitations, parameters and risks, formalize and model a decision-making problem and decide towards a suitable solution, based on data analytics and risk assessment.
The methodology presented is about integration of data science techniques into a collaborative requirement mining framework.
This enables suppliers and product developers to gain insight and discover opportunities in a massive set of requirements and supports data-based decision making.
The methodology is divided into five processes: extraction of requirements, analysis of the
requirement quality, segmentation of requirements into communities, estimation of decision-making criteria and reporting of the estimation. The technical functions defined are allocated into a software building block solution.

- Identify an industrial problem for decision criteria, objectives, limitations, parameters and risks
- Formalize and model a decision-making problem
