This nugget is intended to give students an understanding of the fundamental concepts of assembly processes and material manipulation. Idiscusses the division of different types of assembly processes as well as the differences between handling units and handling means. The last part deals with the ergonomics of the work, which must in no case be neglected during the assembly and handling of the material.
