The nugget provides an all-encompassing view of the SDGs, the manufacturing sector, and the technology of Industry 4.0. It starts with a list and brief explanation of the 17 SDGs, showing how manufacturing and industry relate to each goal (and in particular to SDGs 9 and 12). It then highlights the contribution of Industry 4.0 to innovation and infrastructure development, highlighting the role of technology in achieving specific SDGs.
