General description and use of data that can be obtained by machining simulation performed in MillVis software (or any other similar digital twin simulation). The lesson focuses on three main stages of machining: roughing, semi-finishing and finishing.
The relevant data is described for each stage and the visualization and usage of this data for stage assessment is shown.
Learning outcomes
- The trainee will gain basic overview of machining simulations results that are generated by MillVis
- The trainee will understand meaning of these results and how to use them for process planning assessment
