A team is a small number of people, with complementary skills, who are committed to a common purpose, performance goals, and approach for which they are mutually accountable. This definition has a
deep significance, and each element is analyzed for a full understanding of what a team is.
A team is not the same as a group although sometimes we all use team when we really mean work group.
Impact teams are teams oriented to deliver the maximum value to the customer. This course is not going into the detail of the “Impact teams” concept but lists the main characteristics of them, considering that there are processes, methods and tools to develop such teams.
