OPC UA (Open Platform Communications – Unified Architecture)
is an open communication platform used both for communication between machines
and mainly for vertical communication of the machine to the cloud. OPC UA is a
so-called platform-neutral communication standard. It means that OPC UA can use
existing communication protocols defining the data transfer method such as TCP/IP.
