This section introduces the foundational steps in building the virtual lab: setting up the Unity project, importing and arranging 3D models of instruments and furniture and creating a first-person user-controlled character to navigate the lab environment. By the end of this section, learners will understand how the virtual space and the user’s viewpoint are structured in Unity to support realistic simulation and interaction.
