This nugget represents the assessment for the learners of the Learning Path on Optimized Acoustics.
Assessment is performed against the following Learning Outcomes:The participants will be able to differentiate between the transmission, reflection and absorption of sound waves and determine characteristic values for sound propagation and absorption.
The participants will be able to select suitable materials and damping measures based on given acoustic properties. The learner will be able to outline efficient damping structures consisting of TPMS geometries and compare TPMS lattices to select standard TPMS for dampening specific frequencies.
The participants will be able to select a viable fabrication process and consider respective design guidelines. The learner will be able to plan and prepare a test series for acoustic damping structures.
