There is a wide range of products that can be made and are being made using AM, leading to possible consideration that this is how companies should proceed. However, the inherent and sometimes hidden costs and other considerations of producing parts by AM need to be considered, while knowing how to identify products that are suitable to be printed.
This exercise is a systematic methodology to help understand which component is suitable for this technology and pragmatically select the most promising use cases and applications.
