This nugget about bin picking and AI-based image recognition is developed by the Czech Technical University of Prague.
The Bin picking process is explained and a 5-step (capture image, detect part, determine position and orientation per part, detect occlusions and determine the highest un-occluded part) solution to do this. The model for estimation of part orientation is described in detail.
Python practice is part of the education.
