Learning outcomes

By the end of the module, learners will be able to define the concept of a business model and its primary function. They will be able to distinguish between different types of platform business models and analyse customer-side, production-side, and multi-side platforms.
By the end of the Nugget, learners will be able to value the importance of stakeholder engagement and co-creation in the development of a sustainable business model for a co-creation platform.
At the end of the module, learners will be able to differentiate and classify the components of a business model canvas. Learners will also utilize the business model canvas for refining and optimizing a platform strategy to solve the potential conflicting interests on a platform and assess its validity.
