The main goal is to provide tools to support the development of distributed automation systems, specifically, Cyber-Physical Production Systems, using the DINASORE framework. The system to be developed aims to use DINASORE for continuous monitoring of the performance in an assembly line in a lab environment. On the one hand, DINASORE enables equipment digitalization and cycle time data collection in each workstation. The collected data can be used to represent in real-time a Yamazumi chart. On the other hand, DINASORE provides product quality assessment, since it can collect the number of bad assemblies in each workstation.
Learning outcomes
- Create Function Blocks using the DINASORE framework for real-time data collection, storage and visualization
- Use 4diac for the design of Function Block Pipelines for cycle time monitoring
- Develop a Cyber-Physical Production system based on the IEC 61499 standard in a distributed automation system
