This learning path consists of eight nuggets
and one assessment focusing on the following thematic areas (topics):
The concept and the benefits of including I5.0 KPIs in Process Selection (PS) and Computer-aided process planning (CAPP).
The concept and the benefits of empirical modeling for the optimization of manufacturing processes.
How to configure an organizational structure in Upkip with departments and machines, how to configure machine tags or tags associated with external sensors, and how to configure a factory layout with machine locations in the factory.
How to configure tool types and instances, RFID chip management, tool measurements and maintenance, and real-time tool location tracking.
How Upkip integrates with an ERP system to import operations details, how to filter operations, how to visually schedule operations such as machine production orders, and view planned machine capacity.
How to use the Upkip platform to monitor assets and manage an enterprise through various KPIs.
How to manage and track the progress of execution of planned production orders, how to create warnings and notifications to inform users about machine or sensor data.
How to perform automatic control and autonomous artificial intelligence (AI) optimization with constraints and objectives to maintain the room temperature within certain limits, with minimal energy
consumption.
Learning outcomes
- After the completion of this learning path, the trainee will be able to: -Outline the criteria of I5.0 and how they can be supported by key enabling I4.0 technologies. -Capture the benefits of the utilization of I4.0 technologies and the application of I5.0 criteria in productivity, cost, and energy consumption for different production scenarios.
- After the completion of this learning path, the trainee will be able to: -Create an organizational structure for the factory, establishing departments and machines in them. -Configure machines in the factory with their properties and tags used for managing and receiving machine data. -Design the layout of the factory with floors and machines. -Use and interact with a factory 3D map -Create a plan with production orders. -Monitor the progress of production orders fulfillment. -Configure user notification using different types of media.
- After the completion of this learning path, the trainee will be able to: -Learn how Upkip syncs with an ERP system. -Configure and filter the types and instances of tools. -Learn how the RFID is transferred to Upkip after scanning. -Learn how the cutting tools are managed. -Monitor the current locations of cutting tools or change their locations. -Get information on machine status and performance. -Get information on order deviations, factory OEE and machines utilization.
