Contained within are a selection of materials aimed at introducing the basic concepts of machine learning , going over what it is and how it works and how it can be used to improve the industrial manufacturing process. To this, the concepts of data mining and quality assurance are added, being closely related to the application of machine learning and being of extreme importance to the successful implementation of it. Some practical examples are also shown in order to better contextualize the theory and help the trainee to incorporate and consolidate the knowledge gained.
Finally, a small quiz is used to assess the the proficiency of the trainee in these topics.
