SUMMARY

This nugget offers a deployment example within SUPSI mini-factory, through OPC-UA (Open Platform Communications – Unified Architecture). It consists of five chapters: the first addresses the DT definition; the second introduces the mini-factory, the tool used to demonstrate the DT application; the third introduces the concept of virtual commissioning; the fourth presents a showcase and the advantages coming from the DT Instantiation; finally, some technical details of the implementation are provided.
