Additive Manufacturing is a disruptive manufacturing method nowadays also used as viable production technology for serial products. Added value is mainly created through enhanced part functionality due to the freedom of design. Thus, designers should be skilled in AM topics.
The certifcication handbook of CAMP lists a number of learning objectives requested from the learner in order to be able to become Certified Additive Manufacturing design Professional. The learning objectives are categorized in 6 different topics.
