SUMMARY
In the previous lesson, we introduced the Groupe Pernoud company and looked at an overview of the company’s main activity, which is manufacturing molds for plastic material pieces.
In this lesson, we’re going to discover the problem we’ll be focusing on throughout this course : estimating the cost of manufacturing a mold. To achieve this, we’ll need to understand how the costing process works nowadays, by clearly differentiating each actor involved. This lesson focuses on the problem from an industrial point of view.
