One of the core components in a data space is the Identity Provider, which offers a service to create, maintain, manage, monitor and validate identity information of and for participants in a data space. One of the elements of this component is the Dynamic Attribute Provisioning Service (DAPS), which manages the data space participants’ dynamic attributes by issuing access tokens for the components (i.e., connectors). It enhances security by supervising all communications in a data space.
This nugget is a continuation of the previous nugget: Installing and Using an International Data Spaces Dynamic Attribute Provisioning Service (DAPS). This nugget will cover the customization of the DAPS to give it extra functionality and usability.
Learning outcomes
- After completing this nugget, learners are able to customize the Dynamic Attribute Provisioning Service (DAPS) to: make the DAPS run in a production environment, add scopes, and configure a user interface.
