This lesson introduces learners to the basics of using a VR headset safely and comfortably. They set up their play area, adjust the headset, learn core controller inputs and complete a short onboarding tutorial.
SUMMARY
In this lesson, learners prepare both the physical space and the VR headset so that safety, comfort and tracking are properly set before any training activity begins. They learn how to recognise and set the Guardian boundary, adjust straps and lens spacing for a clear and comfortable view, and use the main controller buttons and gestures for selection, movement and rotation. The lesson concludes with a guided VR tutorial that allows learners to practise basic interactions in a low-pressure environment, helping them build confidence before moving on to virtual disassembly tasks.
