Task on DINASORE: How to create a real-time Yamazumi chart

By Faculty of Engineering of University of Porto

Type of course:

Digital learning, Lesson

Language:

Duration:

30 minutes

Workload:

2 hours

Proficiency:

Advanced

The main goal is to provide tools to support the development of distributed automation systems, specifically, Cyber-Physical Production Systems, using the DINASORE framework. The system to be developed aims to use DINASORE for continuous monitoring of the performance in an assembly line in a lab environment. On the one hand, DINASORE enables equipment digitalization and cycle time data collection in each workstation. The collected data can be used to represent in real-time a Yamazumi chart. On the other hand, DINASORE provides product quality assessment, since it can collect the number of bad assemblies in each workstation.

Learning outcomes

  1. Create Function Blocks using the DINASORE framework for real-time data collection, storage and visualization
  2. Use 4diac for the design of Function Block Pipelines for cycle time monitoring
  3. Develop a Cyber-Physical Production system based on the IEC 61499 standard in a distributed automation system
