About The Author

Michael Golden is the Education & Public Engagement Manager of the I-Form Research Centre, based at University College Dublin in Ireland. He has managed several national and Europe-wide education projects which focus on 3D printing and manufacturing, including the development of educational resources in 3D printing for schools.

About The Author

Renno Raudmäe is a junior research fellow in Computer Engineering at the University of Tartu and has more than five years of experience in the field of 3D printing and more than ten years of experience with various CAD software, including SolidWorks, SolidEdge, Autodesk Fusion. He actively teaches CAD systems, 3D printing, and Robotics topics at the University of Tartu.


Learning outcomes

  1. Upon completion of this course, the learner will be able to identify various tools and techniques within the Prusa Slicer software, and explain how and when they can be used to prepare 3D designs for 3D printing.
  2. Upon completion of this course, the learner will be able to apply the use of various tools and techniques within the Prusa Slicer software, to assist in producing successful 3D prints.
  3. Upon completion of this course, the learner will be able to analyse how tools within Prusa Slicer can be used to overcome 3D printing challenges.
